As a result of separating from parent company AMD, Spansion was challenged with many issues to uniquely brand ourselves and operate with respect to memory and not processors. We are continually focused on improving our policies, processes, and procedures at Spansion to meet our business needs.

| Major: | Electrical Engineering | | What attracted you to Spansion? | Spansion was in the process of separating from parent company AMD to become an independent company, which in itself presents numerous challenges that I was interested in taking on. | | What keeps you here? | Spansion continues to redefine the Flash memory industry with Flash memory solutions and customer centric focus. It is exciting to be part of this global focus. | | What is the most challenging part of your job here at Spansion? | As a result of separating from parent company AMD, Spansion was challenged with many issues to uniquely brand ourselves and operate with respect to memory and not processors. We are continually focused on improving our policies, processes, and procedures at Spansion to meet our business needs. | | What is the most memorable moment you've had working at Spansion? | The most memorable moment was the official split of systems away from AMD. This was a challenging and extensive project that required months of preparation and focus during the system take down, copy, and go live as Spansion standalone. During this initiative, we had one week of manual shipments without a system with minimal impact to our customer base.
